Rhone Energies is firmly rooted in the Fos-sur-Mer area and contributes to the region’s social, economic and industrial development. Our commitment is based on a clear belief: a company creates real value when it supports its community and shares in its growth.

The Fos site relies on local expertise and operates within a strong industrial employment base. We are involved in skills development and training, strengthening the site’s operational capabilities, and contributing to collective initiatives across the Fos–Marseille industrial platform. These actions reflect our commitment to supporting the territory’s long-term economic activity.

Safety and industrial control are central to our operations. We take part in joint initiatives such as PIICTO within the industrial and port area focused on improving energy performance, reducing CO₂ emissions and preparing for future strategic projects, including hydrogen-related developments and electrification. These commitments play a key role in supporting the site’s transition and reinforcing its long-term sustainability within the community.

Rhone Energies also supports BYERS Fos Provence Basket, a well-established actor in local sporting life. During selected events, waste sorting and management solutions are implemented to encourage more responsible behaviour among the public. Through our collaboration with Sport Adéquation, we also support athletes in their career transitions by helping them prepare for new professional opportunities. These initiatives strengthen the connection between our company and the surrounding community.
