Rhône Energies operates at the heart of a highly integrated industrial ecosystem. Our partnerships and alliances are built around the key infrastructures and stakeholders of the Fos–Marseille industrial platform.

The site benefits from direct connections to pipeline networks (SPMR, Fluxel terminals), local storage and cavern facilities (Géogaz, Lavéra, SPSE), as well as neighbouring petrochemical players such as Lyondell and INEOS. Together, these assets form an interconnected industrial system that is essential to the site’s logistical reliability.

Rhône Energies, through PIICTO,  is involved in collective projects related to future hydrogen network connections, the gradual electrification of processes, CO₂ emission reduction initiatives, including energy efficiency programmes, as well as projects involving the integration of bio-based resources and associated certification work. These alliances contribute to Fos’ ongoing adaptation to developments in the energy market.

The site also contributes to strategic working groups and projects across the industrial zone, covering logistics optimisation, industrial integration, development of future infrastructure and technical exchanges on performance as well as environmental performance and impact management. These forms of cooperation strengthen our role within the Fos–Marseille industrial platform.
